::::::::::.. Upload Stats ..:::::::::: Connection is:: 1891 Kbps about 1.9 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB) Upload Speed is:: 231 kB/s Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (server1) Test Time:: Fri Jul 15 11:55:45 EDT 2005 Bottom Line:: 34X faster than 56K 1MB upload in 4.43 sec Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 351.31 % faster than the average for host (Cox.net) Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/stats/id-B0ENF64VM
For some reason I'm not capped! But Fios is new to my area. Ive been waiting all year for them to be done setting up my town. Finally I'm do to have it installed and ready on July 19. I noticed a verizon truck working in my area on the lines and asked about fios and when it would be ready and he said I could order it now. Ive been going to verizon.com trying to order it but the site kept saying it wasn't available. So anyways I'm excited about getting Fios and figured I would share it with you guys. I'm getting the first month free so the package I chose was the 30/5 then I'll downgrade after the fist month. Ill post them results as soon as I get the service on Tuesday. CANT WAIT!!!!

Welcome to the site Chais82.
While your cable looks damn good, FIOS will be blazing.
Don't forget to post scores. Enjoy your new speeds!

Cox upgraded their systems to 5Mbps/2Mbps Preferred Service and 15Mbps/2Mbps for Premier Services, in some areas were FIOS is being offered.

Well as far as I knew a cable modem couldn't download no faster than 1 MB/s so therefor 15 Mbps (almost 2 MB/s) would be imposable for Cox to offer. Also I pay for the premier package and they still only advertise 5 Mbps down and 768 Kbps up. But you seen my speeds though. This happen to a friend of mine who lives in another state and told me that it lasted for him about a month. So I still believe I'm just not being capped.
