Adelphia just recently bought nore bandwidth and even changed the backbone provider (supposedly). This was suppsoed to resolve the problem but apparetnly hasn't

right. but if you expect /every/ pr adelphia customer to do so, fuggedaboudit.

the public schools here suck the big one, half the kids don't even know they're US citizens, and the number of people here that don't speak english is scary. probably more people (percentagewise) in europe literate in english than here.

Everybody has problems witht their connections now and then.  I'm an Adelphia subscriber and I was having speed issues for a couple months.  Look in earlier threads and you might be able to find some of my old tests.  Point is:  It'll be ironed out sometime.  Whether sooner or later; it's like anything else...50/50.  Unfortunately you got later.  If I were you, I'd keep calling Tech support even if you don't want to and RECORD the date/time you talked with them.  Then after the problem is fixed, call accounting and ask for an adjustment on your next bill.  They'll probably take $15-20 off.

I want to apologize Embarassed about the use of Spanish language in my post, but.. I'm Spanish (from SPAIN), living here in PR just from January of this year, and my knowledge of the English language is -at this time- not good enough for some technical explanations.
