 This is the Rev's settings I was talking about. Plain and simple. Probably does fit in anybodies calculations but it is that simple. Too much of a simple user to do much else. Anyway 1151 down at 2992 at 11:00 pm.

  Like I told Fikester I believe it was I have nothing but a normal emachines comp with the Rev's settings, no cable nut settings no registry settings(nervous about going in there. To be specific the SG optimizer settings. Actually before I did the system recovery a couple off  days ago I was unsure of whether or not the settings would stick or not. But come to find out I had not used the reverands settings correctly anyway. But this time I did it right and found out that I was downloading about 800 and slowing down as each hour was going by. Finally I gave tech support a jingle, with her help I was only downloading about 235,247, and 295. We did a computer reconfigure and rebooted. Turned off firewall and AVG , downloads increased to 711, turned on AVG downloads to 813, firewall on 822. Said goodbye and cleaned cookies and files and cleared history, 833.
   Everything was systems go. :haha: :haha: Very Happy ;) ;)
   Back to testmy.net and here they are clean and simple. So sometimes the simple things in life are just that. Now some of you may think this a little wierd but the Rev. did say to say a little prayer and go. It worked. Now I did not set my latency pings to DirecWay because they do not need to know!! :whaa: Shocked Surprised

I don't know anything about the Rev. except on this forum. My bord is AMC9 according to the tech. Signal strength 64. Was told oversold like the rest some time ago.

DirecWay will not re-point dish, will not replace transmitter, will not replace the LNB that the clown cut the plastic window out of.....all equipment is under warranty, re-point was ordered by Dway engineering. This whole ordeal just shows how the system  scam works. I'm sure they will call sometime soon wanting me to extend the warranty etc..  guess one should order a spare system from ebay to keep a spare on hand or become a certified so they will send parts directly as the modem is. Its just back and forth between Hughes and the installer company as I refuse to pay them any fees to perform this work, if I pay will order new parts myself and put them on myself.

Might as well go ahead and preorder Spaceway 3 services!

that spaceway comment is cracking me up :haha:

My speeds look about like yours from 5pm to 10pm every weeknight.
I would love to be able to install or just repoint my own dish. i here were not supposed to touch it ourselves, but it sure beats waiting two weeks for a repoint everytime my dish moves a millimeter.  Maybe I need a better pole mount. 

I thought the 7000 was supposed to be using that super fast spaceway technology :haha:
