wow i see everyone else with like 9mbp/s and stuff ihave the preffered Cox 4mbp/s down and 500 kbp/s up the one i have is 45 a month and the premier is 55 a month for mbp/s down and 700 kbp/s up here are my speed results

 Hey finally someone else from oklahoma lol. I have sbc yahoo dsl pro and I get pretty good scores. there plan is 3mbs down and 384kbs up and it is About $36 a month for me. BUt now you can get it for like $24 for pro.

ya but that just dosent do it for me i need a faster upload speed like around 2 mbp/s up and theres nutin like that for a descent price other cities get that for te same price i pay

no i just checked its not avaliable in oklahoma the fastest residental we have is frickin 5mbp/s down and like 756kbp/s up its pothetic

Okie newbie here.  I called Cox OKC today and asked when/if they will upgrade to the faster speeds.  The rep said he had no information available.  Also, I asked when docsis 2 will be availabe.  Same answer.  I currently have the 4mb service.  Sure would love FIOS, but with SBC being here, I don't see Verizon offering it.

i talked to rep at Cox and asked if there going to upgrade the oklahoma city area anytime soon and he said withim the next year

ya cable is the best in oklahoma but Cox sucks were gonna switch to fios when sbc comes out with it
i hve a big house that the cable runs a long way to get to the room and Cox is tryin to charge us to replace the cable because its out of date and its not worth it because we gonna switch so thew last time the Cox guy was here he told us we needed new cable and we told him we didnt want it because were getting rid of them when fios comes out
