go into the modems control panel click on expert mode, and then you want view logs, and all system logs, on the informaiton it will tell you your downstream rate, and upstream rate.

thats it, and you are synking lower then normal thats why your speeds are low. a full synk for xtreme 3.0 is 3544Kbps, your 500Kbps lower then normal. and that is because of your distance. Have you tried calling bellsouth about this?

Yeah they will do that.  Most likely you might have to call back and talk to a different tech, or your just SOL.

I know for sure I'm serviced by a remote terminal:
Nearest CO : 21188 feet     FTLDFLJA

BTW:  I upgraded to 6.0 XTREME.
http://www.testmy.net/tools/database/db_search.php?type=comp_id&q=617639302812&limit=100

And well, lets just say my stats are terrible, and wonderfull at the same time.  The best speed test I did was around 7.0Mbps (I did it twice, and got it twice), but then my speeds started to fluctuate.  My speeds are at 2.2Mbps!! Just click the link and you'll see!  I dunno WTF is up. =(

I called bellsouth, they said my lines fine.
