I've done some tweaking.  I have RWIN value set to 63888, which for bellsouth gives the best results.

Other then that, I've used TCP optimizer, but I'm not sure which setting to use.  I'm synced at 8.0, but the connection is 'shaped' to 6.0mb.

Yeah, I wanna try and push my UPLOAD higher.  What do you think?  My download seems to be just rockin, just  upload is kinda wimpy.

if you can try and do a ftp upload because i have that same problem with speed test sometimes, the upload would always be around 444Kbps. but when i did a ftp upload is was about 480Kbps

I Have Fast Access Dsl 6.0  42.95 a month
i get a steady 6200 to 6400 kpbs.download and like 425Kbps upload
