Ok my friend has the exact same package as me, SBC yahoo dsl 1.5mb. He downloads at 100-200 Kbps. Which is good. but me im downloading t 40 Kbps

Download Speed is:: 39 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 6X faster than 56K 1MB download in 26.26 sec

thats bs. I talked to them and they said its on there side. I just got this turned on the 8th, but just now got the time to get it started. Where i live, the houses where build just last year.


oh yeah, i live just about 4 blocks from there office
and im on a ewire modem, with only 1 computer using it.

this is my dads dental office i live in oklahoma his office is dental depot  theres like 4 of them in oklahoma  but its sbc and it suxs  i have Cox at my house and get way over my cap i get like 4.3down and 580 up    i have the 4/512 plan which cost 40 a month they have a 5/756  for 55 a month  sbc is cheaper but i dont like it this is just his office i love m y connection by Cox i suggest switching if you can afford it

tell them to have a tech come out and install a filter that mite get you there if its a line prob i have the 1.5/256 plan its ok my up load gets to be beter
