tommie he is copying and pasting that speed i seen the same speed last night in 3 places then agine if he speed is real he needs to let us in on it lol if he is dw 7000

Checked his recent posts and all he does is post speed tests. Hmm.Pretty good though. Just wonder why he does not converse. Oh well each to his own.
4000 Hmm, maybe I should look into one of those. They run much faster downloads then right. Would I be required to redo contract if I owned own equipment. And easier to tweak then? Well another possibility. Wonder how much one could be picked up for? Anybody know of one for sell? Idea Idea Idea

I think you can install one yourself... All you need is the modem. Ask some of the guys in the DirecWay forum at dslreports.

It's hard to tweak a self-hosted modem. Unless some settings are seriously wrong in Windows, you won't seee much improvement.

Post a speed test and I uploaded my tweaks below; they're for dialup.

Ok guys I have the DW4000 and tweaks, not on pro plan. Reason I do not post is when I do some people, do listen to my suggestions or call me a liar.
I have had DW4000 for over 3 years now. I tried the DW6000 and did not care for it and went back to the DW4000 a year ago and no extra charge. I did have to keep the DW6000, which I sold. Hope this helps.
