What are your tweaks that you use. I don't get those kind of speeds. It would be nice to get them. PLEASE SHARE

I use TCP Optimizer from [this.site.has.been.blocked.for.spamming] and basic cable nut settings. If you look thur the DW4000 post from last year you will find several different tweaks for the DW4000. Once you tweak your PC leave them for  couple of weeks before changing them to a different setting. I am only running one PC on SatMex 5.

Does Cablenut support Windows XP?  Because where you choose your operating system, it has Windows 95, windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows 2000..but no XP  Confused

Yes cablenut does support xp, I run just the basic for XP. I also run TCP optimizer from [this.site.has.been.blocked.for.spamming]. At one time the setting was in the DW4000 fourm.

But it doesn't have windows XP in the operating system selection!  So do I just click on Windows ME or Windows 2000?  Sorry, I'm not familiar with cablenut at all.  I know what settings to put in there, it's just that when you choose your Operating System it doesn't have XP listed  Neutral  I've got Cablenut 4.08, I'm pretty sure that's the latest version right?

Hi Decade,

Got messing around with my proxy server last nite. Got it to open up around 50 or 60 ports. then weird stuff started happening. Very Happy

I have a 4000 basic plan. on G4R
Longitude: 99 degrees
Hemisphere: West
Transponder Information
Receive Frequency: 1230 MHz
Receive Polarization: Vertical
Transmit Polarization: Horizontal
22-KHz LNB Tone: Off

My normal speeds before this emancipation of my service was 1.5 to 1.9 Mbps down
and crap up..

Yeah, isn't XP just Windows 2000 with a different look and a few changes?

Dont worry, dont be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride.'
