.s1 please disregard this as I realized you're stuck with basic cable due to it being provided by your apartment complex if I remember right.

For the others here in the Tampa Area though:

It only takes 3 of their services for 15/2, Converter box, Digital Phone and RR. As for the 10/1 all you need is the converter box and Roadrunner. Unless you are running strictly basic cable you are eligible for at least the 10/1 package.

If you have the DVR you're set after a simple phone call.

I pay approx. $49.95 for roadrunner 6000/384 & generally obtain readings that avg. 5600/350 from Lexington, SC

What do you think of that?:

I pay $45 for a 7/512 road runner connection.  In Orlando.  And I'm right in front of the amplifier for the street also the router for this area is at the end of the street.  So I have that going for me.

There are no perfect settings, you have to play around with different ones to find the one that works best for you.

You are so correct. There are no perfect settings, I went back to the VB 6000 Ver 9 file and one tweak to firefox. Man what a difference.
