I too have been experiencing a slow internet connection from Cox. I'm in the Northern VA area and I have the 5/2 plan. On average, I get 5.5/1.4 and I'm very happy with that. The problem started on Oct. 2 causing my speeds to heavily fluctuate and significantly affecting the quality of connection. Downloads were from 1.1 Mbps to 5.1 Mbps and uploads were from 20 Kbps to 1.1 Mbps! I can't even play my online games anymore because of lag. Very frustrating

I'm having one of their field techs come over tomorrow evening to find the problem because it's driving me nuts!!! Hopefully it's fixable on the spot.
