We need to roll out.. call me up some time, ya got my number :-p There are a couple of minor details that the shop is going to work out (the trunk isn't centered perfect... couple of minor paint details... rear passanger door doesn't close the same and the rear driverside door), but all and all the car is awesome... one thing about the car that's different than a stock EVO is all of the side skirts are painted to exactly match the car... when the car was stock the spoiler and side skirts were a little off color (I think because they were actually a colored plastic) but now it matches perfect... also when I went to pick up the car the shop owner said "Oh yeah, we need to put your badges on the boot (lol, boot) lid." -- so we went out to the car to do that and he was trying to look where the badges would go (judging from the old F#@&ed up trunk) -- as I was looking at the back of the car I thought "that looks awesome without the badges" so I grabbed the badges out of his hand and said "I will keep those for when I sell the car, for now it's going to be unbadged" -- funny thing is he agreed with me and told me that he hadn't put the logos on the car yet because he also thought it looked better and wanted me to stop him... hahaha, anyway... here are a couple pics I just took, like JUST now. |

Arizona revised statute §SR-6567 states "People of caucasian ethnicity may not afix a spoiler over 3 inches in height to their vehicle, unless that vehicle is actually fast and the car actually needs and takes advantage of the downforce created (examples include: Subaru WRX STI, Lancer EVO VIII, Nissan Skyline GT-R R33/34, Golf GTI-R32 [if turbo has been added])" haha, see! I'm excluded from that! lol |

info on the 2003 evo http://www.fast-autos.net/vehicles/Mitsubishi/2003/Lancer_Evolution/ -- 2003, 10k miles, APS intake, APS BoV (sounds awesome... very tough sound to it), B&B turbo back exhaust, Exedy twin plate racing clutch, yellow in color... stock the brake calipers are red... I have has mine re-powdercoated (by brembo) black with a white logo (cost $1400 to do that.. looks great)... After my mods I have gained about 80+ hp over the 271hp stock set up .... and it's all professionally tuned by Dyno Comp of Scottsdale, and the intake and exhaust setup is very clean and has a nice low tone to it... not a ricer tin sound... the car is incredible and handles amazingly. Easily hangs with tuned corvettes, mustang cobras and porches (all from a inline 4, lol) --- I need to get a truck or SUV :-/ ~~~ like I said, if you are truely in the market for an EVO, I will give ya a deal... I am paying too much for insurance so I need to get out of it myself -- the faster the better... and if that means taking a loss on what I still owe on the car.. so be it (check your rates on this car before you consider it by the way) |

Haven't sold it yet.. just been talking about it. I had one guy that was going to buy it but his financing fell through. I did sell my '89 IROC-Z though, first day! And they didn't even haggle on the price. They saw it and said "SOLD" lol. Kinda sucks because the next day someone offered to trade me a 2001 Ford F-150 for it (worth much more than what I sold the IROC for). So I was kinda bummed, but at least I could wipe my tears away with a fat wad of cash, bah ha ha ha. |
