hey guess what they are blocking all my pings and trace routes too probably to save bandwidth cause its overused. also my pathping seems messed up too cause it didnt go anywhere

they just oversold there lines and i am getting sh*tty pings andd speeds cause of it. they sent me an e-mail too that said they sold too many bonded t-1's and they have a higher sla than me so there packets get sent while i get packetloss and sh*t speed and i get no credit and nothing done. wtf it that man i never heard of such a thing have you? edit ^^ dont know what that means i am yelling at them now and i messed up  |

if your talking about alot of money i would sue them and bring the email to court you would surely win for failure to provide paid services ....
i had speakeasy DSL at one point because i wanted the higher upload to run an xbox live ghost recon island thunder server, they promised me it would be capable to run the server and it was not, i canceled my service and when they informed me of a cancellation fee i told them i would be suing for failure to provide paid services and they didn't attempt to charge me the fee.

Its 300 to disconnect early, and even if you did all you want to do to "make" Speakeasy disconnect you they will still hold you to the TOS. They can cancel your service due to violation of their TOS and still charge you the disconnection fee. You might get out of part of the fee if you say your going to sue. But they wont just drop the case.

There is no different price plans that have different disconnection fees. The site speakeasy.net/tos does not conform to different packages. Its the same wether you have a SDSL, T1, or ADSL, its 300 dollars to cancel early. And if you piss em off and get their Abuse team on you they can kill your connection and will have zero compassion when it comes to the disconnection fee.

If you Re contracted with them they can choose to set your termination fee lower and adjust your monthly rate. Which it sounds like you did that, but its either 150 or 300, unless someone for some strange reason manually set it to 200 but that is WAY out of the norm. I used to work there for years. I know their policies and still have nightmares from there. You have no argument and cant just get out of the fee for being a dick to em. They can negotiate the fee but being a dick will not help that. In fact I was shown this link from a friend there that had a customer (maybe you) point to this so they are fully aware of your post. |
