You're lucky if you didn't kill it, that's waaay too much OC for such a video card, and at such OCs I'd use at least watercooling or something like that.

Hopefully you did not jump from 324MHz to 479.93MHz, hopefully you slowly increased it. If you slowly increased it, hopefully you remember at which over-clocked MHz the card was stable at, now reset your card and try it again, and hopefully you didn’t fry it.

Only OC until you start seeing artifacts as soon as you see these back it down 10 MHz and test again to make sure they are gone. This will give you a safe OC as artifacts are caused when your chip starts getting to hot.

Why do people overclock cheap video cards?

Well at least it wasnt a Geforce FX5200 like I did one time...and blew it....

I got a nice Vid card, don't you ever call it cheap.

Sorry, but I get amazing 3d graphix out of this thing. No, I had ATITool do a Max Core test, and at 479, it froze the pc, being what..umm..155MHz overclocked? Not bad, it bumped it up very slowly, it actually took 20 minutes or so to do it. I booted back up my pc, and I'm getting great results.

Anyone else ever played that game that's inside the payed for version of 3dMark2001? It claimed 80, then 87, then ~91 fps...!! Shocked !!
I don't think that was right though...

Dude, didnt mean to offend.  I do the same crap myself.  I just had a typo in the second part where I said "at least it wasnt a Geforce FX5200 like "it" did"  I meant to say like "I" did.
