Adelphia Internet service went down at about 1 PM today in San Diego's North County and came back up around 3:40 PM.  Since service was restored, my 4-Mbps Preferred service has been slightly faster than usual -- about 4.1 Mbps uncorrected for overhead.  Maybe the slightly faster speed is because some folks haven't wised up to the fact the service is available again.

I do believe thats why you have little faster speeds..No one is using it yet
