Was looking to try T1 to eliminate Dway. How do you like Transedge so far? I was finding them to be most affordable T1 in my area. Just views on your personal opinion of their service and how long you have been with them, honestly now, this is not cheap as you know. ;) ;) Question Arrow

Also a speed test, tech support, and speed during congested prime time, say 6PM. Thanks.

Theyre amazing .See full speeds all the time and low pings to, Installation time is like 2 months and what quote did they give you?

Connection is:: 1474 Kbps about 1.5 Mbps (tested with 5983 kB)
Download Speed is:: 180 kB/s

:.. Upload Stats ..:::
Connection is:: 1425 Kbps about 1.4 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB)
Upload Speed is:: 174 kB/s

Always around those speeds to the site but my transfers are full 188- 189 kB/s

Waved meaning activation fees.

Window shopping 6 months before contract renewal. In boonies and tired of satellite slow downs. Dway is 'IRRITATING", or works ok. If came from sattelite would to know personal feelings. Live 5 miles from cable and dsl civilation. Would like decent stable internet service. Found along time ago that aggrivation removal is priceless. angry5 :haha:

Sounds like the way to go until DSL or Cable ever arrives. Maybe 10 years or so, who knows!!
Are you on full T1. Are there any other hidden costs I should maybe know about? You are being very helpful. That's enough for a new car payment, so just want to be careful, you know.

Tried any cable nuts or optimizer, or would it make a difference. Also are you on a single computer or network?

No, there was no extra loop fee included and it was a set price. Came with 32 ips (29 usable) and i run 5 comps , 2 labtops , 3 xboxes Ps2 and a xbox 360 easily, even able to run a game server fine. I got the siemens 5940 gateway and have 2 netgear gig switches on the network and 2 comps have ICS.
The line is extremely stable and have had 0 downtime.
It is a car payment price though .

Yes it is a Full T1 1.5/1.5 , and i used cablenut cuz even when i first got it , it was registering 1200/1080 at first ,then used a css file and boom , there were the speeds.
