Seen all the hype and advertisements on home page last week. For another $9.95 a month.... NAH!!!  I don't think so. I've had Optimum Online/ Cablevision since it was first offered years ago and every time something is wrong with computer, TV or phone they say the problem is in my area (Northwestern Connecticut). So I'm not wasting anymore cash on something that they are apparently not gonna fix. My speeds are rarely what they advertise they are supposed to be. But are still faster than dial-up. angry3

At least I don't feel all alone with my speed problems!  WAY oversold where I am, I don't think boost is coming my way soon! Sad

Wow my download speed suck and my upload is the worst and when I called optimum they said they "Capped" it from the network because it is a shared network. They said something about "Throttle" but wasnt paying attention. So my speed drops when they cap it but it I call 4 more times they will send the case to a security team and then from there they will decide wether or not to terminate my service. Since I am always uploading they said they had to cap it, So Blunted is verylucky to have those speeds
